Infuriating. I don't know how they sleep at night fleecing the American people like this to pay for shameless tax cuts for billionaires and giant corporations. The pain will be deep and widespread if the Senate agrees to the House budget.

Not only does this budget steal from the American people but it sets the foundation for this century's Holocaust. For the purge of those in nursing homes, assisted living homes and seriously ill people. 77 million people in medicaid. These cuts means certain death for thousands if not millions. Here is a deeper dive into these cuts:

I don't need a script. My son had epilepsy and even though his medication keeps the frequency of seizures down, it doesn't stop them. Also, this developed when he was 41 and on the cusp of his career, which he had to give up. He lives at home with me in an overpriced rental that I keep because he has nowhere to go. He just was qualified for Medicaid after he had to cut his work hours -- at a low wage retail job --- all he can get because he cannot drive. He is in the process of being tested for possible surgery to possibly stop the seizures which are making it right now that he cannot even be alone.

Without medication he will most likely die either from sudden death which happens to a percentage of those Ina seizure, or an accident due to a seizure.

Without the surgery he will spend his entire life living in suspended animation and I will be spending my life trying to figure out how to support him when. I am entering retirement age -- Without much of a retirement.

There are so many levels of F'd up that thr Republicans could do to his life and mine. If he doesn't have coverage for meds he dies. If he loses coverage while recovering from surgery, he could die. If he ends up homeless because God forbid. I cannot provide housing for him, he could die on the streets. In fact he had appleis for housing and is on waiting lists, some running as long as 6 years. What will happen when HUD is cut further? What happens if I can no longer sustain housing for he and I? I work in a traditionally male dominant field, I am worried about what all this hatred about equality is going to do to me and my work future. It's hard enough already and I can't be thr only one, I know many people have even more dire stories to tell

Don’t forget to add disabled people to the list of people severely impacted. We’ve been treated as expendable for years, but we have nobody advocating for us even today.

Absolutely. A significant amount of people receiving Medicaid and SNAP have a disability.

Here are some orgs advocating for those with disabilities

Also very afraid of the mask bans on the table. The lack of masks in public, especially in healthcare settings, is appalling and directly contributing to the eugenics agenda. Disabled people cannot even safely receive healthcare because nobody wears a mask to protect us.

Not that I’m surprised, but I am still so angry. My Republican representative, when I called on at least two occasions, I was told directly that my representative would not be voting for any cuts in Medicaid. Just a straight out lie obviously.
